Gies students have the option of taking the following proficiency exams to meet Business Core requirements
CS 105: Written exams: Tuesday, January 21 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. probably in Room 1404 Siebel Center (but please check back to confirm the location). Options are CS 105, CS 125 (for C++), CS 173, and CS 225. Computer-Based Exams: the week of January 21 (excluding Monday the 20th, which is a holiday). Please check back for specific dates and times. ECON 102 & 103: Options are ECON 102 (Microeconomics) and ECON 103 (Macroeconomics). You may choose to take only ECON 102, only ECON 103, or both ECON 102 and ECON 103 by taking one on Thursday and the other on Friday. Registration is required and will open soon. The deadline to register is 48 hours before your desired test date. The room you will report to for your exam will be stated in the email confirmation you get after registering. Math 220 (234 required): Saturday, January 25 from 9:00 a.m. to noon in Room 1320 Digital Computer Lab (DCL). Options are MATH 220, 231, 241, 225, 415, 285, and 286. You may take only one test per testing session. Registration is required and will open on Friday, January 10 and will close at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 22.
